C&E {Rancho Las Lomas}

I really enjoyed having C&E as clients for their Rancho Las Lomas wedding. They were the sweetest people and I couldn’t have asked for better clients! Thank you again for the honor of working on your wedding! Here are more floral detail shots from Chenin Boutwell… wedding by the lovely Eva of Red Velvet Occasions.

The venue’s famous blue tiled wall:

The wedding arch consisted of curly willow branches, eucalyptus, lisianthus, statice, hydrangea in green, ivory and blues, and green amaranthus.

C’s bouquet with hydrangea, freesia, anemones, mini cala, maidenhair fern and tree fern that created a very wispy ‘feathery’ look to go with their peacock theme:

C’s genuine reaction when she first saw her bouquet was wonderful & I am always so glad to do what I do when I see a bride taken back with happiness.

E’s bout of mini cala, scabiosa, a little statice for that pop of color and tree fern:

Honor attendant wristlet & bouts:

 A shot of the happy couple with E’s parents… I like this one because it shows the lovely iris wristlet on his mom:

C & her ladies:

Bridesmaid bouquet of casablanca lilies, fiddlehead ferns, scabiosa and tree fern. A great call on C’s behalf to give her bridesmaids white bouquets to contrast with their vibrant dresses, don’t you think?

Ceremony… when brides request swirly petal aisles, I make them looser in design, giving it a more organic touch because… well, the other way just isn’t our style.

A little cocktail hour guy with ranunculus, dianthus, statice and of course, scabiosa (did you notice that was a Bunch Studio favorite?)

For the centerpieces we had 3 alternating styles: low and lush, a trio of filled cylinders, and topiaries:

Each place setting had a sprig of statice… a simple elegant touch to any dinner table:

The dessert station by My Sweet & Saucy was also placed underneath the arch:

And ending with beautiful Christine!

Deena & Mas {part 2}

Here are some more details from Deena & Mas’ wedding… I had a great time creating everything for this wedding! The stationery, the signage, the ‘guestbook’ which was a cherry blossom branch for guest thumb prints to go on, the hair accessories Deena adorned, the program fans… so many details into this special day. What fun. Thanks again Adrienne!!

Ceremony backdrop, we wanted something simple and fun, and not take away from the ocean view:

Flower girl head wreath:

A sprig of pink wax flower for each place setting:

We also created the dessert backdrop and dessert stands out of cups and plates! Cake & desserts by My Sweet & Saucy:

Their guest thumb prints cherry blossom of love:

insane clock wall by Jesi Haack

each bridesmaid had her own floral type bouquet with dusty miller

and Ashley’s was a combination of all.

The centerpieces were all in vintage milk glass collected by the bride’s mom.

Congratulations Ashley & Ian… cheers to a lifetime of happiness!

Fun & Games!

Thanks for waiting… here are a few images from the Fun & Games photo shoot I worked on a while ago with some uber talented folks. We incorporated Candyland, Bingo, Chess, Rubix Cubes, Jacks, Chinese Checkers, Scrabble, Dominoes, Bottle Toss… so much fun!! For the flowers I used matsumoto asters, craspedias, baby’s breath, seeded eucalyptus, strawflowers, and rice flower.

We are really, really, really looking forward to having The Knot print this shoot in an upcoming magazine! And because of which, I must ask that these images not be reposted. And I will try to focus on the florals as to not give away too much!

Aren’t these turquoise Chivari chairs to die for?

um, making the cotton candy was probably my least favorite diy… but it warrants my argument for purchasing my very own machine!

The colors of the blooms really coordinated with the outfits. I had so much fun making these bingo flower balls:

i went through a turquoise painting kick after i finished these bottles and had left over paint…
