Thanks for visiting… we’ve moved to

Please update your bookmark / reader / etc. ūüôā See you over there!

Changes are happening here at Bunch Studio… as I have been mentioning, for some time, behind the scenes. Can’t wait for you to see!

Our busy wedding season is slowly winding down with a few more lovelies here and there… the fun whimsical wedding of the crafty hands behind Petit Plume.. a lovely outdoor fete in Malibu with Miss Sassy Girl.. an elegant soiree at the W San Francisco¬†with Zoie Events. Not to mention a few parties to design. Yes, we are quite excited for what’s to come.

We just came back from Kings Canyon… it was a much needed visit with the wilderness. Our annual, perhaps LAST tent camping extravaganza for a while (as most of us are planning on starting families soon) (no, not us)… just love the sound of rushing rivers, native birds, snapping twigs… sigh. However, did not love the active bats in the dark, nor the dozen bug bites I ended up with. But well worth it. Also saw a baby bear perched atop some large boulders in the middle of our hike… it was magical… the quick second I stopped to look, but instantly shook off my curiosity and noted how extremely dangerous it is to be within sight of a baby bear. Anyway…

Have a great week!!!

C&E {Rancho Las Lomas}

I really enjoyed having C&E as clients for their Rancho Las Lomas wedding. They were the sweetest people and I couldn’t have asked for better clients! Thank you again for the honor of working on your wedding!¬†Here are more floral detail shots from Chenin Boutwell… wedding by the lovely Eva of¬†Red Velvet Occasions.

The venue’s famous blue tiled wall:

The wedding arch consisted of curly willow branches, eucalyptus, lisianthus, statice, hydrangea in green, ivory and blues, and green amaranthus.

C’s bouquet with hydrangea, freesia, anemones, mini cala, maidenhair fern and tree fern that created a very wispy ‘feathery’ look to go with their peacock theme:

C’s genuine reaction when she first saw her bouquet was wonderful & I am always so glad to do what I do when I see a bride taken back with happiness.

E’s bout of mini cala, scabiosa, a little statice for that pop of color and tree fern:

Honor attendant wristlet & bouts:

¬†A shot of the happy couple with E’s parents… I like this one because it shows the lovely iris wristlet on his mom:

C & her ladies:

Bridesmaid bouquet of casablanca lilies, fiddlehead ferns, scabiosa and tree fern.¬†A great call on C’s behalf to give her bridesmaids white bouquets to contrast with their vibrant dresses, don’t you think?

Ceremony… when brides request swirly petal aisles, I make them looser in design, giving it a more organic touch because… well, the other way just isn’t our style.

A little cocktail hour guy with ranunculus, dianthus, statice and of course, scabiosa (did you notice that was a Bunch Studio favorite?)

For the centerpieces we had 3 alternating styles: low and lush, a trio of filled cylinders, and topiaries:

Each place setting had a sprig of statice… a simple elegant touch to any dinner table:

The dessert station by My Sweet & Saucy was also placed underneath the arch:

And ending with beautiful Christine!

Love Threads {shoot}

Good morning!¬†Today we are featured on Style Me Pretty. We shot this back in May and we can now finally share with you all of its glory. We had an AH-mazing team. Our location, the Petit Ermitage Hotel really really was so fabulous in every aspect… I so recommend this insanely awesome boutique hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles. Here are some of my favorite shots… see the feature here.¬†

Ceremony backdrop of layers and spools and layers of threads, ribbon, sheers, cotton, lace, and lots of buttons on the ground:

Pitbulls & Posies magic… love the sewing diagram detail, and there were lightly hand painted details brushed on to the paper. So pretty:

Pitbulls & Posies also created these yarn finger streamers for the recessional. We sure had fun tossing those…

Amazing venue with its quirky charm and eclectic details:

William Kim just shoots pure magic:

Erica crafted these lovely nail string art pieces… LOVE!

So, how perfect is this cake? Notice the subtle hue shifts of peach, ivory and blush. The texture is so detailed… I can’t get over this:

I also love the feel the scattered stock petals give… looks like popcorn:

LUSH sweetheart table with peonies & garden roses with linens, china & furniture from Melissa @ PowWow Vintage

Vintage amber and blush hued cordial glasses and vessels for our floral centerpiece set up.

Special thanks to my lovely ladies Erica Espana, Amber Moon & Laurie Mura for indulging me. Thanks to Marisa for assisting!
